The organizers of the 8WCCA have decided to postponed the World Congress in view of the situation with Coronavirus.
The following is a message (also attached) from the Chairman of ECAF, Prof Gottlieb Basch, who is also the Chairman of the International Organizing Committee of 8WCCA.

Dear Colleagues,
We have been advised by the Institute for Virology and Immunology in Switzerland that, given the developing situation with Coronavirus and the difficulty in making prognosis, the 8th World Congress on Conservation Agriculture (8WCCA) should be postponed by a period of one year.
After consultation with supporters and collaborators, the Organizing Committee has decided to accept the advice and is informing all concerned that the 8WCCA has been postponed by a period of one year.
The Organizing Committee will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed regarding different aspects of the World Congress through various channels including the 8WCCA website: www.8wcca.org
We deeply regret the inconvenience caused by this postponement but sincerely hope that the high level of interest already shown by potential participants, collaborators and sponsors towards the World Congress will be maintained.
